"BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME"
that was the message i got when i saw the screen yesterday night. i was taking a test for placement in a software comapny and i simply could not get it. i knew i had done the test well? but WTF? how could i not get selected, i mean this was soo easy that even a first grade stud could have cracked it. it was a easy walk through. i could not understand. everyone of my friends got selected, but me, how could it have happened.
i was depressed, above depression it was vexation, i was vexed by the fact that i could loose out on such a easy piece of cake.
but everything changed when i got a call from the placement officer at 11 30 pm yesterday night. things have changed from then on. its a different story now. i will be joining a million plus workforce next year in the indian software industry.
it makes me even more depressed than yesterday night at the loss of identity i will go through next year...but WTF i get paid for it...and the pay is decent :)

Finall i have completed my bloody project and submitted my report. as it would have happened there was a typo in the first page and i completely over looked it. I stood there like a kindergarten student in front of the external examiner who told me how careless i am.
next up he started asking questions. now i had prepared well on my topic and was read to face any kind of question, but the man chose only questions that were out of my area and from topics which i loathe the most. ultimate result? a double screw up!!
why are the examiners like this, didnt they go through the same face that we are going through , dont they know that the marks are life and death matter to us?
just to went out my feeling, my dear external you are a no good MFSB. yeah you might not know what MFSB means, you should probably check out the answer in some design text book from where you found those questions you asked me ...in all probablities you will not find out :)

Has anyone ever wondered how it feels to be a cameraman when your movie becomes a big hit? ask me, i am no cameraman, but a mere backstage help in the theater called life. I like doing what i do best, sit in the backstage, hear the artists do the roles, help them out with their makeup, set the stage for the show, arrange the props and pray for everything to flow smoothly. At the end of the day i know that my name will not even be mentioned during the introduction of the cast, but then i know for a fact that without me the show would not have happened.
There are times when i sit back and wonder how good it would have been, had i been the protagonist. i would have got dropped in a limo, would have been dressed in full attire by a dozen odd people and i would have had the lime light all for myself. but nope my mind constantly keeps telling me that i am more the king maker than the king, the king would definitely respect me, but not the state.
Judge me by my work , i always say, and not by my appearance, but this gets paradoxical, because, as much as i do not show up in the stage , neither does my work get recognized. Not that i crib, because my work in itself is to make it look as if there was no work done? confusing right? that is how confused i am right now?
how i wish there was a ctrl + alt + delete combination in life, so that i can restart from the beginning, all over again...

I am going to shoot a documentary.Because i cannot shoot those b!#%$@rds who cut down some 40 or 50 trees (each atleast 40 years old) along the sardar patel road. i am going to shoot a documentary on it, any help towards it is most welcome. At the end of it i will post the video on my blog, and those who wanted to help, but who could not can spit on it. Err, not on my docu, but on those filthy B@$%^%ds who cut down the trees as old as their own parents.
i am going to miss the lot of tress, especially the one opposite to hi look coffee shop where i spent most of my school days drinking rose milk for 5 bucks. it seems the reason for cutting the tress down is that, the tress are an obstruction for the driving lot. what profound reason, yes the tress are obstruction, and what do you call yourself? aren't you the biggest obstruction to mother nature evolution, oopsy i forgot you only think about yourself right? not your great great great grand children, right?

we were two of a kind. we grew up together. she was always the smarter of the two, but i always preferred to remain number two. through my life i have come to accept her as my best critique. My friend, my philosopher, my guide. through the darkness of time, she shown upon me, upon my path, she was my ever guiding light, that refused to blow out even in the fiercest of gales. she was as sturdy as the gibraltar when it comes to keeping secrets. she was my treasure house of all the darkest of my secrets, my drooling and the likes of it. even though we did college at different places, we always stayed in touch, 4 hours everyday by phone, and the remaining 20 in each others heart as a memory that will linger till eternity. she is beyond words, and our relationship was platonic. no one dares to call it lust, or rather none who dared ever lived to see the next day.....

But things change. dont they? two weeks ago, she proposed to me. i knew this was wrong, i knew it will never work out, i had a thousand doubts already and a million more were forming, the very instant i shook my head, smiled and said yes. we held hands together, for the first time in many years. we talked, giggled, gossiped and at that moment i realized that it was meant to be like this, god has treated me extra kindly. i was in complete bliss when suddenly i realized that i had to leave station the very next day. i stopped in greens drove on reds, broke a half a dozen rules and kept thinking about her till i reache home that night.

yesterday i returned, i was happy beyond words, i jumped of the train and ran to the PCO to call her....she broke it off, in the sweetest of words, she told we will remain good friends as usual, my mind had half a dozen doubts, a million more were creeping in when i said 'yes you are right' and hung up. i cannot be her love anymore, least her friend. i don't have the face to face her. i cannot laugh genuinely anymore when she is near, neither can i act busy. oh god, why did you treat me so kindly?

i find that you have lost your senses completely. I had always doubted your sanity, your actions today have proved, my doubts. No sane creature in this world will go about head banging in a bhajan competition. Nor will anyone sane show a \m/ after every song has been sung.
you are a disgust to the musical society, i wonder what made you such a pervert?
i remember that once upon a time you were also a carnatic music singer and you also sang in the same bhajan competition. you might argue saying that today's actions were a bigger crowd puller than when you sang on stage, but that actually is not the point.
you do not realize that i am also a part of you and i enjoy music, music of all sorts, all genres. you do not realize that you are proving to be a hindrance to a true music lover. i have never argued with you, i have never called heavy metal, unmusical, or a source of noise. In fact i have enjoyed listening to heavy metal in your presence. I expect the same thing in return. You always turn deaf when it comes to indian music, you do not realize that you are in the process deafening me too.
at least from the next time onwards dont go headbanging in carnatic music concerts, for mind you ,carnatic music enthusiasts are not a head banging lot, nor do they like someone banging their head behind their chair. Also please note that at the end of the song you are expected to clap and not hoot/whistle/show \m/ sign.
i also wish that your peanut head will realize that carnatic music is also a kind of music, even though theorized noise as you may call it. i furthermore advice you never to turn up in such concerts and give me freedom from your acoustically misguided soul.

hope you will stop listening to "i dont give a F**k about you" and hear something like "the art of living" that will help your misguided soul reroute to sanity.

Mistakes And More

have made a lot of mistakes. Mistakes that cannot be undone. Mistakes that are tormenting me. For example, I should never have asked the email ID last august, i should never have accepted that conference invite. I should never have sent invites for orkut in the month of November. I should never have accepted a testimonial in December. I should never have brought my friends into the picture. I should never have spoken about this blog to nonbloggers. I should never have put posts like these. Well for all you know i should never have created a blog.

My sister today asked me a question that made me feel suicidal. "Anna" she said, "I never complain on what you do in the computer, but please realize that you have not spoken to me for the past 6 days, but for the occasional, his and byes. You never heard me when i told you that i got the first place in school intra culturals. I am not complaining but please remember that i am your sister and not some kind of acquaintance". it made me realize that i can have only one sister and that has got to be krithika. I should not have worried about some girl, whom i did not even know to exist before 9 months. I should not have given a damn when some third person wanted to drink, i should never have suggested things like blogging or orkutting to people.

Today was ashwini's birthday treat, a meeting with my best chums, a day i usually cherish, but a day that i now detest after I went through what was in store for me. Said Ashwini "i am runnig temperature, you made me come to a non existent Qwikeys in G.N.Chetty Road and finally you seem weird beyond words, i would better knock some facts into you, you neither have to be obliged to act brother nor have you to lead a fictitious life that will make you look different, i am extremely sick, yet I came today, just to remind you that we are your friends and not some cyber creature who seems to have taken your life out of your hands." She had a point here. I suddenly realized that, i seemed to be sitting with the computer too much. I wrote my mid terms so miserably that for the first time in life it looks as if I might fail. Failure is something i never accept be it in a cycle test or be it in life, now i am forced to accept both. Failure in a test, which is nothing compared to the failure in life. I failed my own principle, i failed my own conscience.

A part of me keeps telling me that i was not supposed to be a part of it at all, it kept telling me that i was at the receiving end of a great conspiracy. but the rest of me kept telling me that i asked for it. i should have played my cards closer. i should have watched out for the inevitable. At this moment i am sure that i am the center of the talk of a few families, i would be branded a rebel out of control who is trying to subtly influence all the innocents around. What makes me feel worse is that these talks are all true, i meant to undo a few things and all my efforts went wrong.

what bothers me is that all my friends are deeply involved in this crap as well. they are into it as deeply as i am. One wanted to draw even after his name was brought in for no reason at all. one wanted to get the hell out of the place after he was branded Casanova and a first order flirt with out consideration. one wanted to help me out of it and got involved into it and another is into it for the mere reason that he was handsome in one of the photos. Remains me of the law of space time continuum, "you cannot disappear from the space and time of a controversy in which you play center stage" I am in too deep a shit to get out of it.

Now the last thing I expect the people concerned to do, is to start another comment war on this post. I am only trying to vent out my feelings here, please do not take this to be a snub on you or my version of high handedness. Please accept everything that has happened to you over the past few months please realize that I cannot be a true friend, for neither of us know each other beyond these nine months. Please realize that we are only being a burden to each others friends. Please close all your accounts that involve my friends, and me. I will be doing the same thing on my side. Please start a new chapter in life, a chapter in which I will not play an influential part. Start over from where you left nine months ago, the tide has changed again, better steer clear of everything that occurred these nine months. Finally a request, I have gone through hell, now I don’t want to go through it again, my decision is final in this regard, what I have asked you to do is a mere suggestion (the last one you will get from me), it is left to you to decide on what to do, you are the captain of your ship, please be wise and move forward from these shallow waters of uncertainty. Be bold yet behold your destiny.
